The Old Town Quarry is a magical place of unrivalled natural beauty and tranquility.
Marvel at the peregrines, chase butterflies, encounter foxes or study wild flora.
Or simply enjoy a restful cup of tea at the cafe, which has seating both inside and out. A log fire or the summer sun, this is somewhere for all seasons.

Just think how many people are reading this page at home in a house that was built using stone from that quarry.

I love the Old Town Quarry- so much to enjoy there from the compost toilets to the yummy cakes (maybe not in that order). The peregrines will taunt you while you try and search for them, and it's a super safe environment for kids. Add to that the fact the number 4 bus stops right outside and entry is free...perfect!

It really is a special place. There is a little group of artists who hide out in the back of the main building too, so rumour has it!
